We loved being part of the CEC’s Culinary Masterpieces Event last Wednesday, November 17th!
Adesso had so much fun last week at the Community Environmental Council's Culinary Masterpieces event that was co-hosted by the CEC and Merryl Brown Events. We were in good company at the event with some of Santa Barbara’s finest and most delicious local vendors: C’est Cheese, Jessica Foster Confections (her dark chocolate rosemary and white chocolate meyer lemon truffles were amazing!), San Marcos Farms Honey and Green Star Coffee. Valerie of Eat-Drink-Garden with Valerie was there and made some delicious eats (lettuce soup, fig & cheese crostini, thinly sliced watermelon radishes & carrot cake cookie sandwiches—yum!).
We purchased some adorable reusable snack and sandwich bags for our kids from the Girl Sunday Designs table. They make great gifts. Stewart+Brown, a sustainable fashion brand with an incredible aesthetic, also participated in the event with a fashion presentation. Adesso’s designs were paired with looks from Stewart+Brown’s Fall collections (see photos of models below). We had our Fall 2010, Zodiac Bracelet, Signature and, of course, Eco-Friendly Collections on display and for sale. All in all, it was a great afternoon! All photos are courtesy of Erin Feinblatt.

Our Visit to L’Armoire in New Canaan was truly a wonderful treat!
We had the best time at our trunk show at L’Armoire on November 11, 2010! Diane Roth, owner of L’Armoire, and Karen were the most amazing hosts! Diane has such impeccable style and taste. It is a treat to watch her in action during her day. The looks she throws together are always modern and fresh, yet classic. L’Armoire’s New Canaan clients were so supportive and lovely. We are already planning our next visit!
After the show, Diane took us for dinner at the Roger Sherman Inn. Our dinner that night was by far the best meal of the whole trip! If you are in New Canaan, CT, go visit the Inn and ask for the sweet owner Nez. Dessert is not optional. She has the BEST pastry chef! They make the most delicious homemade ice cream.
Thanks, New Canaan for a wonderful day and evening!

Private Holiday Shopping Event in NYC on November 10, 2010
Adesso was thrilled with the trunk show at The London NYC on November 10th. It was wonderful to see so many of our NYC friends! Laurence at L’Oasis did a gorgeous job on the flowers. Keep her in mind for flowers in the area. She is so talented! On a side note, we were obsessed with the beautiful silk, embroidered wallpaper in the St. James Park event room at The London! Thank you for coming out to see the collection! See you soon, NYC!

More from Adesso at the Emmys!
On August 26th and 27th Adesso had the privilege of being a part of the Emmy Style Lounge at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. Over the two day period celebrities among the likes of Christina Ricci, Anne Heche and Jennifer Love Hewitt (amongst others) came by and picked out their favorite Adesso pieces. The new Zodiac Bracelets line was the overwhelming favorite! Many celebs wanted to wear them in stacks and picked the signs and stones of their loved ones.

Adesso at the Emmys!
Adesso participated in the Kari Feinstein Emmy Style Lounge on August 26th and August 27th, 2010. We debuted our new Zodiac, Men's and Kid's Bracelets! It was great fun! Stay tuned for more photos!

Santa Barbara Birth Center Fashion Show
Adesso bejeweled the models for the Santa Barbara Birth Center Fashion Show at the Tennis Club of Santa Barbara on Saturday, August 14th, 2010. Fashions from Kate, Dressed & Ready, So del Mel, Blue Bee, K. Frank and Amelia Jane were featured with pieces from Adesso's latest Fall & Signature collections. Adesso also donated 25% of proceeds from sales that evening to the Santa Barbara Birth Center.

Adesso for Dream Foundation Launch Party
On June 24, Adesso hosted a launch party for the Adesso for Dream Foundation Collection at the Coral Casino. Guests shopped Adesso's Dream Foundation, Signature and Spring 2010 collections while enjoying a special Adesso cocktail, wine and delicious small bites. The beautiful, seaside event was planned by Merryl Brown of Merryl Brown Events. Eat-Drink-Garden with Valerie designed the gorgeous, nature-inspired floral arrangements to compliment the jewelry. 25 percent of Adesso's Signature and Spring 2010 collection sales from the evening were donated to the Dream Foundation. 100 percent of proceeds from the Adesso for Dream Foundation Collection from that evening and from our online sales are donated to the Dream Foundation. Jewelry Trunk Show at Lola in Carpinteria, Friday June 4th, 5-8pm
Lola held a trunk show with Adesso Jewelry as part of First Friday in Carpinteria. Local designer Samantha Goldstone's jewelry has been featured in Oprah magazine. Lola will be donating 10% of sales during the event to the Dream Foundation. Wine tasting was with Summerland winery.

Adesso Trunk Show for Tribal Trust Foundation at Santa Barbara Museum of Art's 1st Thursday on May 6th, 5-8pm
Adesso held a trunk show at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art’s 1st Thursday event on May 6th from 5 to 8 pm to benefit various charities that make up the African Collaboration Group, composed of several Santa Barbara based non-profit organizations. Adesso is working directly with the Tribal Trust Foundation to raise awareness and funds for a project in the Congo to preserve indigenous living arts there. A percentage of Adesso’s proceeds from the 1st Thursday trunk show will be donated to the Tribal Trust Foundation. Attendees talked with the founders of over 20 nonprofit organizations addressing issues of education, cultural preservation, trauma counseling, health, family planning, and economic empowerment in Africa.

NYC Editor Preview & Trunk Show at Soho House New York
Adesso will be showing both Holiday 2009 and Spring 2010 pieces at the Soho House event. Additionally, Adesso has designed a limited edition collection for the Tribal Trust Foundation’s Congo Project that will be debuted at the Soho House New York event. A portion of proceeds from this limited edition collection, featuring hammered gold heart charms, will go towards the Tribal Trust’s efforts to preserve the living arts of indigenous cultures.

The Tribal Trust Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and raising awareness about the living arts of indigenous people around the world, has the rare opportunity to film in the “Heart of Darkness,” the Ituri Forest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Adesso designer and owner, Samantha Goldstone, was touched by the tremendous knowledge of the environment, healing and arts that the BaMbuti people possess. Trunk Show at L’Armoire in New Canaan, Connecticut
On Friday, December 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Project Runway Winner Christian Siriano will be part of the New Canaan Holiday Stroll kick off, when he returns to L’Armoire for a trunk show, personal appearance, and book signing. Adesso will also be holding a trunk show during this special event. Adesso owner and designer Samantha Goldstone will be in the store with Siriano and pairing looks from her line with Siriano’s current and future collections. Designer Siriano and Diane Roth, fashion specialist and owner of L'Armoire, are featured in the sixth photo below at Siriano's April 2009 L'Armoire Trunk Show.

Community Environmental Council’s Annual “Green Gala”
